We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented quantity surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, tender and quotation evaluation, drawing reviews, and project cost monitoring. The role will involve working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure effective cost control and delivery within approved budgets.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and budgets for construction projects
- Review architectural, structural, MEP, and other technical drawings to determine quantities and project requirements
- Prepare and evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor proposals
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and provide regular cost reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/higher diploma in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field
- 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software experience with AutoCAD/PlanSwift/CostX
- Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, tendering, valuation, cost control, and contract administration
