Group Maintenance Engineer / Manager

Miami Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a leading exporter of children’s apparel, renowned for their expertise in every stitch of the garments they produce. We take pride in delivering superior clothing lines, supported by our deep industry knowledge gained through extensive experience and exposure. We currently have a vacancy for the above position at our garment factory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mechanical and maintenance processes in the factory.
• Lead the team to achieve company goals and KPIs.
• Ensure machines are maintained and repaired on time to optimize performance.
• Analyze data and regularly identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and regulations related to the garment industry.
• Utilize modern tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Work with the IE team to maximize machine utilization while minimizing reliance on outsourced services.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field from a recognized university or institute.
• 3-4 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge of machines and garment manufacturing processes.
• Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Sinhala and English.
• Sound knowledge of audit requirements.
• Age below 45 years.
