Technical Officer

A senior technical officer is required for site at Paradeshiya Tea Estate Hidry – Watawala for Constellation 88 (pvt) Ltd.

Responsibilities

Projects snagging and finishing works:

• Executive residence 6000 sq feet single story building.
• Two story office building.
• Front and back yard drainage system construction and landscaping and MEP works.

The technical officer also responsible for all the construction work such as construction supervision, monitoring, controlling, and coordinating with materials suppliers for materials supplied by the client, site measurement and, handling all the documentation relevant to the project execution, etc., and completion of the project within the scheduled time and budget.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be a team player, highly organized, have positive interpersonal and excellent communication skills, willingness to work extended hours, when necessary, with the ability to plan ahead and multitask in order to meet deadlines and keep projects under budget.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications: NDT, HNDE, NVQ5.
• Proven working experience in construction related to building construction (minimum 5 years).
• Engaged in construction projects of over 150 million.
• Ability to organize and arrange site works and adopt quality control and assurance of all site works and building finishes.
• All the work related to quality control and quality assurance shall be handled.
• Coordinate with the contractor, construction supervision, etc.
