Tax Accountant

We require an experienced and dynamic Tax Accountant on a full-time basis. The Global BPO specializes in business process outsourcing in the areas of Finance and Accounting, Mortgage Brokering, and Multiple BPM Solutions. We offer a wide variety of solutions to our clients representing multiple industries in Australia, the UK, Europe, and the USA

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role can include the below but are not limited to:

• Preparation of individual & company tax returns
• Complete the month-end accounting process
• Preparation of financial reports
• Liaise with ATO and other government bodies
• Debtor and creditor management
• Payroll and Superannuation reporting
• Complete the year-end accounting process
• Ad hoc reports requested by management

Key Requirements

• Fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA/CA or CPA Minimum 2+ years experience in TAX – Accounting for the Australian region
• Experience in working on XERO, MYOB, HandiTax or HandiLedger
• Sound knowledge of ATO compliance including GST and payroll
• Good communication skills and experience with speaking to overseas clients
• Attention to detail & been task oriented
• Ability to work under pressure with good analytical skills
• A good team player with a good attitude and can work independently
