Shipping cum Administrative Assistant

Aussee Oats Milling (Pvt) Ltd is a multinational company and the largest Oats Milling facility in South Asia. The company is in the process of manufacturing cereal-based products from oats, barley, and other grains for the South East Asian markets. The state-of-the-art plant is located at the BOI zone in Mirigama, Sri Lanka. Our manufacturing plant is the first Oats processing facility in Southeast Asia and is under the scope of FSSC, GMP, and other international standards.

The position will be based at our city office in World Trade Center — Colombo

Essential Requirement

• GCE (A/L)
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in handling import & Export Documentation, Invoices, and packing list
• Fair knowledge of MS Excel and Email with good command of English
• Dynamic, highly motivated with good interpersonal skills
• Having a Motor Bike with a valid driving license is mandatory
• A diploma or any other related qualification in the relevant field will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Handle & submit shipping-related documents for the relevant parties to take the custom declarations and permits related to imports and Exports.
• Ensure relevant supporting certificates are ready by the registration department prior to shipment. (Document legalization and etc.)
• Coordination with Shipping companies & freight forwarders to collect the shipping documents in a timely manner
• Ensure relevant shipping documents are ready and courier or deliver them to respective parties in a timely manner
• Visit IRD, Customs, banks, or other relevant departments, collect cheques,s, and preparation of any other urgent documents required by the Finance Department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible for all other Admin and Ad Hoc Duties when required.
