Technical Officer

Qualifications

1. National certificate in technology (NCT) civil engineering.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction industry in water supply projects (pipe laying).
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality control and health & safety practices related to water supply projects.
4. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
5. Good communication, reporting and presentation skills.
6. Age below 45 years.

Duties & responsibilities

1. Supervise site activities related to pipe laying.
2. Ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.
3. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
4. Maintain daily site records and prepare progress reports.
5. Monitoring and presentation progress of works on daily / weekly / monthly basis.

The ideal candidate(s) should be a team player having positive interpersonal and communication skill with willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
