Human Resource Assistant

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Should have completed certificate level course in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution
• Knowledge and understanding of labor law/donor agency requirement
• Good Communication; negotiation, and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work in under pressure
• Strong knowledge and skills in working with Microsoft Excel and e-mail communication
• Should have knowledge in translating HR-related letters into Tamil/EnglishfTamil
• Fluent in English and Tamil (oral/written). Sinhala is an added qualification
• Good presentation skills

Human Resource Officer

Essential Skills & Requirements

• 3 —4 years of professional work experience, ideally in an international aid/development agency
• Experience in managing a small HR team, including the development, and training of staff
• One-year Certificate level/Diploma level qualification from HR from a recognized professional institution
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and develop a small team
• Knowledge and understanding of labor law/donor agency requirement
• Good Communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage heavy varied manual work under pressure
• Ability to manage a conflict situation
• Good computer literacy, numeracy, and knowledge of advanced excel Salary will be based upon the MAG Salary – Scale on a fixed-term contract.
