Medical advisor – vaccination

To drive scientific engagement and medical education by building strong disease and therapy expertise, supporting healthcare professionals, and delivering balanced, non-promotional clinical insights.

Competencies

1. A doctoral degree in life sciences (e.g. Ph.D.), pharmacy degree or a medical graduate (e.g. MBBS, MD) is required.
2. Medical postgraduate (e.g. MD) and doctor of pharmacy (Pharm. D) or MBBS / MD degree recognized by Medical Council of Sri Lanka is preferred.
3. Excellent communication / presentation skills, with the sound ability for relationship-building and engagement.
4. Planning organizing skills & problem solving and solution orientation, along with integrity, perseverance, fairness & honesty.

Scope & responsibilities

1. Build and maintain advanced disease, product & therapy knowledge to disseminate with other relevant key stakeholders.
2. Plan and execute medical education activities, engage healthcare professionals in scientific discussions, and provide field-based medical information / education to physicians.
3. Deliver balanced, fair non-promotional presentations related with advances in disease knowledge, diagnosis and treatment of relevant products.
4. Facilitate pre-congress abstract submissions, and attend medical congresses, conventions, symposia & presentations, and prepare reports.
5. Assist in continuing medical education (CME) program development & organization, and participate in scientific committees.
6. Provide clinical education and therapy training support to sales staff in the field.
