About the company

Tradex is a manufacturer of soap & detergent products in high quality with modern technology and its head office is located in Kurunegala. We are seeking for suitable dynamic persons for the following vacancies.

Key responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions
2. Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
3. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
4. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
5. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
6. Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, EPF/ETF, and statutory requirements
7. Coordinate with auditors and support annual audits
8. Maintain proper documentation and accounting controls
9. Support inventory and cost accounting activities
10. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management

Qualifications & experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
2. Partly qualified or qualified in AAT, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
3. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
4. Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
6. Knowledge of Sri Lankan tax regulations will be an added advantage
7. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
8. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
9. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
10. Good communication and interpersonal skills
