Located in the Export Processing Zone, Katunayake, the company is seeking to recruit an individual for the following position.
About the role
We are looking for Assistant Manager – Human Resources with strong Japanese language skills to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with HR experience who can effectively manage HR functions while coordinating with Japanese stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Handle employee relations and workplace issues.
- Communicate and coordinate with Japanese clients/management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders like hotel/and travel agents.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role.
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3/N2 or higher preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in all languages (Sinhala/English/Japanese).
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
