Assistant accountant

Key responsibilities

  1. Prepare and manage budget, forecasts and financial performance tracking.
  2. Maintain daily cash flow.
  3. Support internal controls & liaise with auditors, bank and other institute.
  4. Monitoring finance department’s daily transaction & prepare monthly / annually financial statements & management reports on timely manner.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounts or related field.
  2. Part qualified in CA Sri Lanka, or fully qualified CIMA, AAT, CMA.
  3. Minimum of 10 years experience in a finance division.
  4. Diploma/certificate in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  5. Familiarity in taxation, financial regulation and compliance.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or Sage).
