Central Industries PLC is a leading manufacturer of uPVC and PE pipes and fittings. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team.
The quality assurance technician will be responsible for ensuring that all production and quality processes in the factory are carried out according to standards and regulations. They will assist in preparing production plans and production schedules in coordination with the production department, conduct accurate and independent inspections without being influenced by the production department, maintain all important records related to quality control, and provide accurate data and information. They will also assist the management in preparing reports and proposals for improving quality and provide timely and accurate reports on production and quality issues.
This role requires a strong understanding of quality control principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you are a proactive and results-oriented individual with a passion for quality, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all production and quality processes in the factory are carried out according to standards and regulations.
- Assist in preparing production plans and production schedules in coordination with the production department.
- Conduct accurate and independent inspections without being influenced by the production department.
- Maintain all important records related to quality control and provide accurate data and information.
- Assist the management in preparing reports and proposals for improving quality.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on production and quality issues.
Requirements
- Passed G.C.E. A/L in science stream (those who have not passed A/L but have relevant experience will also be considered).
- Previous experience in a similar field will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office) and knowledge of Sinhala, English, and Tamil languages will be an added advantage.
- Age should be below 25 years.
- Residents of Wattala and surrounding areas are preferred.
