Senior Manager – Operations

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Manager -Operations and lead the operational performance of our retail business.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage the end-to-end operations of all supermarkets, Bake Bars, and super-hot kitchens.
2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
3. Analyze operational and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
4. Prepare and present management information system (MIS) reports to support strategic decision-making.
5. Develop, review, and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for products and operational processes.
6. Drive operational excellence through process improvements, cost optimization, and productivity enhancement.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
8. Lead, coach, and develop outlet managers and operational teams to achieve business objectives.
9. Plan and execute new initiatives, promotional campaigns, and growth strategies.
10. Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve sales and profitability targets.

Key requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, marketing, supply chain management, or a related field.
2. 5-8 years of experience in retail, FMCG, supermarket operations, or a similar industry, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
3. Strong expertise in data analysis, reporting, MIS preparation, inventory management, costing, and BOM preparation.
4. Proven experience in managing multi-location operations and leading large teams.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
6. Proficient in MS Excel and business reporting tools.
7. Willingness to travel extensively across Sri Lanka.
