Student Counsellors | Student Enrollment Executives

Charles sturt university colombo campus is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused, and results-driven professionals to join our student recruitment and admissions team as student counsellors / student enrollment executives.

The successful candidates will play a key role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing course information, supporting recruitment activities, and contributing to student enrollment targets.

Key responsibilities

1. Counsel prospective students and parents on academic programs, admission requirements, and career pathways.
2. Respond to inquiries through phone, email, social media, and face-to-face consultations.
3. Guide applicants throughout the admissions and enrollment process.
4. Follow up with prospective students to achieve enrollment targets.
5. Participate in education exhibitions, school visits, open days, seminars, and recruitment events.
6. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications using CRM systems.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, educational partners, and other stakeholders.
8. Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the student journey.
9. Assist in executing student recruitment and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications & experience

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in business, marketing, education, management, or a related field.
2. Previous experience in student recruitment, educational counseling, sales, customer service, or admissions will be an advantage.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Excellent command of english, both written and spoken.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong organizational and relationship-management skills.
7. Proficiency in microsoft office applications and CRM systems is desirable.
