Accountants executive

Panasian Power PLC is one of the fastest growing renewable energy companies listed in Colombo stock exchange and operating in multiple locations over 20 years in Sri Lanka. The company is experiencing a rapid growth in recent years as the country is moving towards sustainable practices of power generation from renewable sources. To support the growth, the company is looking for young and energetic professionals to manage the upcoming solar power and mini-hydro projects in Sri Lanka and overseas. We are looking a dynamic individual to join our team as Accountants executive.

Key responsibilities

1. Compilation of financial data in order to prepare necessary financials report in adherence with the financial procedures and guidelines.
2. Preparing financial statements and schedules for internal and statutory audits.
3. Preparation and providing accurate and complete management information and ad hoc reports requested by management.
4. Liaise with banks and internal and external auditors.
5. Knowledge on income tax computation and liaise with tax consultants.

Qualifications

1. Part qualification of ICASL / ACCA.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance and 1-2 years prior experience in a similar capacity.
3. Exposure to ERP implementation would be a definite advantage.
4. Experience in preparation of financial statements.
5. Experience in the power industry is a plus.
6. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
7. Should be able to work with minimum supervision.
