Manager – Operations

Gajashakthi Security Service (Pvt) Ltd, a leading security services organization with a well-established and respected brand in Sri Lanka, is seeking an experienced senior retired military commissioned officer to join the company as manager – operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s island-wide security operations, providing strategic direction to regional security managers and operational staff, and ensuring the effective delivery of security services across all regions. The role requires driving organizational performance in line with the company’s vision and mission, achieving targeted business and sales objectives, and spearheading initiatives that elevate the organization to higher standards of operational excellence and service quality.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a highly motivated leader who possesses:

1. A commissioned officer in rank of major or above of Sri Lanka army (or an equivalent rank from the tri-forces).
2. Proven leadership and operational management experience, with exposure to the private security sector considered a distinct advantage.
3. Strong IT literacy and the ability to effectively utilize modern technology and digital platforms.
4. The capability to provide strategic leadership and ensure the delivery of exceptional security services to our valued clients.
5. Excellent networking and relationship-management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government institutions, corporate organizations, and key stakeholders.
6. Experience in business development, including the promotion of security services and related products.
7. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative brand growth and market expansion strategies.
8. A degree or diploma in a relevant field, which will be considered an added advantage.
9. Outstanding leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire teams, manage diverse operations, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
10. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public relations skills, coupled with a professional and customer-focused approach.
