Accountant
Key responsibilities
- Manage all finance related transactions.
- Prepare and publish consolidated monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements within deadlines in line with IFRS.
- Manage and comply with all tax and other regulatory (CSE/SEC) requirements.
- Monitor internal controls.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances in compliance with IFRS and group policy.
- Oversee and coordinate the external audit process and annual report.
- Managing cash flow and liaising with banks.
Qualifications
- CA/CIMA member or finalist.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance.
- Experience in a listed company.
- Exposure to ERP implementation would be a definite advantage.
- Experience in the power industry is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Should be able to work with minimum supervision.
