Job responsibilities
- Oversee hotel operational accounting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide timely and precise monthly financial statements and management reports, both routine and ad hoc.
- Effectively manage treasury operations to minimize financial costs for the company.
- Administer fixed assets management and ensure comprehensive insurance coverage for all assets.
- Ensure timely invoicing and prompt collection of receivables; negotiate pricing and improved credit terms with suppliers.
- Guarantee the timely payment of all statutory obligations, including levies, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and filing requirements.
- Manage the annual budget process and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain a strong internal control system to safeguard company assets.
Job requirements
- Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in similar capacity preferably in the same industry.
- Professional full / part qualification in finance / accounting (AAT / CIMA / Chartered).
- Should be well competent on all forms of communication in English.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Flexibility to travel to different locations around the country.
- Knowledge in accounting systems (Scienteer, QB etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 package.
