MEP Engineer

We are expanding our dynamic team for our Head Office and invite passionate, skilled and committed professionals to join us in building the next landmark residential development.

Key requirements

1. Education: BEng in mechanical or electrical engineering
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years in building construction projects — on-site experience is compulsory
3. Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software — Revit MEP is an added advantage
4. Systems knowledge: Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire protection, networking and plumbing systems
5. Standards & compliance: Understanding of industry standards, regulations and compliance requirements
6. Cost analysis: Ability to break down MEP project costs into labour, materials, overheads and contingency

Key responsibilities

1. Design and develop MEP systems for building construction projects
2. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and project teams
3. Prepare technical drawings, specifications and bills of quantities (BOQs)
4. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
5. Provide technical support and guidance during project execution on site
6. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced office environment
