Supply Chain Assistant

Core responsibilities

1. Handle local and international procurement of raw materials, consumables, and services.
2. Supporting inventory transactions and monitoring stock levels.
3. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value.
4. Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
5. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
6. Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements.
7. Evaluate suppliers and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
8. Assist in cost control and inventory management activities.

Candidate profile

1. Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, stores management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 03-05 years’ experience in a similar role.
3. Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
6. Computer literacy – proficient in MS Word/ MS Excel.
7. Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in store operations.
8. Preferably under 40 years of age.
