Restaurant Supervisor

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
2. Lead, motivate, and support restaurant staff to achieve operational and customer service standards.
3. Monitor staff attendance, grooming, punctuality, and overall performance.
4. Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints and concerns.
5. Assist in staff scheduling and duty roster preparation.
6. Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and health and safety standards.
8. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service.
9. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control and ordering.
10. Handle cash transactions, billing procedures, and end-of-day reporting when required.
11. Conduct staff training and provide coaching to improve performance and service quality.
12. Support the restaurant manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.

Requirements

1. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage industry.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Good problem-solving and customer service abilities.
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operational procedures.
7. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
8. Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications will be an added advantage.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
