Contract manager (local management role)

China harbor engineering company ltd., a globally recognized infrastructure construction company, is seeking a qualified and responsible individual to join our Sri Lanka operations as a contract manager (local management role).

Key responsibilities & requirements

  1. Thorough knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions, particularly the red book and silver book.
  2. Familiar with variation and claims procedures under construction contracts.
  3. Proficient in CESMM4 measurement rules commonly used in Sri Lankan construction projects.
  4. Strong professional correspondence skills, with fluent written and spoken English.
  5. Ability to interpret and review engineering drawings accurately.
  6. Capable of conducting risk analysis and implementing risk management strategies.
  7. Proficient in engineering and office software, such as AutoCAD and MS Office.
  8. Able to assist in coordinating subcontractors and supporting project management activities.
  9. Over 12 years of professional experience in the construction industry, previously serving as a contract manager, with extensive experience in commercial negotiations and contract management.
