Executive coordinator – Colombo
The selected candidate will directly report to the senior general manager – head of production plants and will be responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial, coordination, and administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the division’s operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, management, secretarial studies, or a related field
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a secretarial, coordination, or administrative role (experience in an operations/construction-related material production plant environment will be an added advantage)
- Strong skills in meeting coordination, minute taking, and follow-up management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Sinhala
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Proficiency in using AI tools/applications for documentation, communication, and reporting will be an added advantage
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all administrative and operational activities of the plant division at head office level
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, circulate minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items
- Monitor and follow up on decisions, instructions, and task allocations issued during meetings
- Liaise with plants/projects and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and the timely completion of assigned tasks
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to plant operations and management reviews
