Recovery Officer

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Recovery Officer to manage and recover outstanding payments while maintaining positive customer relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring timely collections and supporting the financial health of the company.

Key responsibilities

1. Manage and follow up on overdue payments and outstanding accounts.
2. Contact customers via phone, email, and letters to recover overdue payments.
3. Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with customers.
4. Monitor customer accounts and track payment commitments.
5. Resolve customer disputes and escalations professionally.
6. Maintain accurate records of collections and communication.
7. Prepare regular reports on recovery activities and outstanding account status.
8. Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of accounts.

Requirements

1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management, or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience in debt recovery, collections, or a similar role.
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets.
5. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
6. A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
