Senior Manager – Inventory

Join the Singhagiri team as Senior Manager – Inventory and play a pivotal role in leading the organization’s inventory management function. You will be responsible for developing inventory strategies, optimizing stock levels, ensuring inventory accuracy, and driving operational excellence to support business growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize stock ageing and inventory-related costs.
2. Monitor inventory performance and ensure stock availability across all business locations.
3. Oversee inventory forecasting, replenishment planning, and stock movement analysis.
4. Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
5. Analyze inventory ageing, movement analysis, inventory valuations and prepare management reports to support decision-making.
6. Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to improve inventory efficiency.
7. Identify slow-moving, obsolete, disposable and excess inventory, recommend and execute corrective actions.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements

1. Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management, or a related field.
2. Professional qualifications in supply chain management will be an added advantage.
3. Minimum 7 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain operations, with at least 4-5 years in a managerial capacity.
4. Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
