Group Chief Financial Officer

Atman Group is an investment company with international operations and diverse interests in renewable energy, agriculture, aquaculture, leisure, and property development.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and lead the Group’s financial strategy during an exciting period of growth and value creation.

The Group CFO will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, fundraising, capital markets activities, mergers and acquisitions, and strong governance to support the Group’s long-term vision.

Key responsibilities

1. Lead fundraising initiatives, debt financing and investor relations
2. Drive IPO readiness and capital market strategies
3. Lead mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financial due diligence
4. Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives
5. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management
6. Ensure strong financial controls, governance, compliance and risk management
7. Lead treasury, tax planning and cash flow optimisation
8. Oversee legal and regulatory financial compliance across the Group
9. Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board on key commercial matters
10. Build, develop and mentor a high-performing finance function

The ideal candidate

1. Degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
2. Professional qualification such as FCA, FCMA, ACA, CPA or equivalent
3. Minimum 15 years’ finance experience with at least 5 years as CFO, finance director or in a senior finance leadership role
4. Strong experience in corporate finance, fundraising, capital markets and financial strategy
5. Proven experience leading IPOs, M&A or large strategic transactions
6. Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, governance, compliance and risk management
7. Strong analytical, commercial and strategic thinking with excellent leadership skills
8. Proven ability to influence stakeholders at Board, investor and senior management levels
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
