Executive – HR Operations

Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the smooth administration of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions and separations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws and statutory requirements while maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Prepare HR reports, analyze workforce data and contribute to process improvement and HR transformation initiatives.
- Manage employee compensation and benefits programs in line with company policies and market practices.
- Support salary benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Coordinate annual salary reviews, promotions, increments and bonus processes.
- Maintain and update employee compensation records, salary structures and benefits databases.
- Liaise with payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of salaries, allowances, incentives, deductions and benefits.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, wellness initiatives, retirement plans and other employee perks.
- Monitor market trends and industry compensation practices within the IT sector and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations and company policies related to compensation and benefits.
- Prepare compensation and benefits reports, analytics and management dashboards for HR leadership.
- Support HR budgeting and workforce cost planning activities.
- Assist, coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives, employee recognition activities and company events to enhance employee experience and workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, management, or a related field.
- Professional HR qualification (CIPM, PQHRM, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR operations, with exposure to payroll administration, employee engagement, and employee relations.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
