Accounts Executive

T K Trading (Private) Limited is an authorised distributor for Golden Harvest Mills (Private) Limited. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic and responsible individual with initiative and good communication skills to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Maintain receivables and debtor accounts accurately
2. Follow up on long outstanding payments
3. Maintain up-to-date debtor reports
4. Manage accounts payable functions
5. Handle supplier payments
6. Assist with working capital management
7. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and management reports

Requirements

1. Part qualification in AAT or CA Sri Lanka
2. Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a relevant field or similar capacity
3. Age between 22 and 32 years
4. Good communication skills in English
5. Hands-on experience in QuickBooks will be an added advantage
6. Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages
7. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
8. Ability to plan and carry out work independently with minimum supervision
9. Ability to meet deadlines when submitting reports
