Junior Executive – Business Intelligence (BI)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented junior executive – business intelligence (BI) to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in data science, data analytics, information technology, or a related field who are eager to build a career in business intelligence/data analytics. The successful candidate will support the development of reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical solutions while working closely with business stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
2. Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business decision-making.
3. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
4. Create and maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and processes.
5. Assist in building and optimizing data models and data flows.
6. Support the automation of business processes using Power Automate where applicable.
7. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
8. Participate in data warehousing and data integration initiatives.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
10. Provide timely support for ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in data science, information technology, computer science, statistics, business analytics, or a related discipline.
2. 6 months to 1 year of experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of Power BI (report development, visualizations, complex DAX, and data modeling).
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, formulas, data analysis).
5. Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
8. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

1. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate.
2. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
3. Basic to intermediate Python programming skills.
4. Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
5. Experience with Power Query, SSMS, Azure Data Services, or similar data platforms.
6. Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, or data science concepts.
