Cashier – POS System Operator

About the company

We are one of the premier cricket club affiliated to Sri Lanka Cricket and are looking for a proactive and energetic person with a pleasing personality to fill the following vacancy immediately.

Responsibilities

1. Manage billing and order entry for both restaurant and bar using the POS system efficiently.
2. Accurately process cash, card, and digital payments while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
3. Generate customer bills, apply discounts or offers, and handle refunds or voids as per company policy.
4. Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
5. Prepare and reconcile daily sales reports, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
6. Keep the cashier counter clean, well-organized, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
7. Working hours: day shift & night shift (rotational basis).

Requirements

1. Passed GCE advanced level with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar cashier or POS-based role, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting.
