Technical Sales & Compliance Coordinator (Chemical Industry)

Key responsibilities

1. Coordinate technical sales and customer inquiries for chemical products in the Sri Lankan market.
2. Work closely with clients to understand requirements and provide suitable chemical solutions.
3. Prepare quotations, sales documents, SDS/TDS and other technical documentation.
4. Ensure compliance with GHS, REACH, IMDG/IATA and other applicable regulations.
5. Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams for smooth order processing and delivery.
6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support business growth.
7. Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry / applied chemistry / chemical engineering / business studies or related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in chemical sales, technical support or compliance.
3. Good knowledge of chemical regulations (GHS, REACH, IMDG/IATA).
4. Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
7. Willing to work in Sri Lanka.
