Maintenance assistant – electrical

Maintenance assistant – electrical ensures the optimal performance of our CCTV surveillance systems and supporting infrastructure across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintenance work, with a strong background in CCTV systems, electrical, and air-conditioning services.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist in the maintenance and servicing of CCTV camera systems, air conditioning units, and general infrastructure.
2. Perform routine inspections of premises, equipment, and electrical appliances to identify defects and maintenance needs.
3. Troubleshoot and carry out repairs as required across facilities.
4. Conduct scheduled annual services and ensure smooth operation of all relevant systems.
5. Provide support for both general and electrical maintenance tasks as needed.

Skills and requirements

1. Professional qualification / certificate equivalent to a minimum NVQ level 3 in CCTV camera or electrical from a recognized institution.
2. A minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in CCTV and electrical maintenance.
3. Possession of a valid heavy vehicle driving licence will be considered an added advantage.
4. Willingness to travel to different locations as required.
5. Age below 45 years.
