Key responsibilities

  1. Manage day-to-day store operations at road construction project sites.
  2. Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and balance stock levels.
  3. Handle construction materials, tools, machinery spare parts, fuel, and consumable items efficiently.
  4. Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and procurement teams regarding material requirements.
  5. Maintain proper control of site inventory and minimize wastage or losses.
  6. Operate and update ERP/SAP systems or other inventory management software when required.
  7. Prepare GRNs, issue notes, stock reports, and other store-related documentation.

Requirements

  1. Part qualification or ongoing studies in stores management, warehouse management, or a related field will be considered an added advantage.
  2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in road construction-related storekeeping, inventory control, material handling, and maintaining store records/documentation.
  3. Experience in handling construction materials, tools, machinery spare parts, and site inventory management.
  4. Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems or other inventory management software will be an added advantage.
