Responsibilities

1. Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for payment systems, including user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows for payment methods, and mapping the requirements to the systems.
2. Facilitate communication among stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and operations; conduct gap analysis, create test cases, support go-live, and provide post-production support for business users.
3. Research payment architectures, backend services, risk scoring, and APIs to recommend improvements and ensure seamless implementations.
4. Ability to identify critical issues early, assess impact, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
5. Ability to collaborate with multiple teams to support the business needs.

Required skills & experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience); 3+ years in business analyst.
2. Strong stakeholder communication across business, technology, and operations teams. Skilled in managing discussions, resolving ambiguities, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
3. Proficiency in business analysis tools like JIRA, Office-365, and Confluence for user stories/epics, UML diagrams (sequence/state).
4. Exceptional people-management skills, mentoring, conflict resolution, performance feedback, and clear stakeholder communication to present BA metrics and risk assessments.
5. Agile/Scrum experience, including backlog management, UAT support, and working under tight deadlines with conflicting priorities.
6. Strong problem-solving to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements in payment systems.
