Legal Officer

We are fast growing Real Estate company located in Dehiwala is seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents including sale agreements, leases, MOU and other property-related contracts.
2. Providing legal advice on real estate transactions and regulatory compliance.
3. Coordinating with external legal counsel and government authorities where necessary.
4. Managing land-related legal documentation, title searches, and due diligence.
5. Ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
6. Supporting internal teams with legal guidance on operational and strategic matters.

Candidate Profile:

1. L.L.B. Degree from a recognized university.
2. Attorney-at-Law.
3. Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure to the real estate or property development sector.
4. Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan property laws and land registration processes.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
7. Computer literacy.
