Assistant Manager – Merchandising

Singhagiri Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as assistant manager merchandising. The assistant manager merchandising will play a crucial role in ensuring that our showrooms are visually appealing and effectively showcase our range of products.

Responsibilities

1. Visit showrooms regularly to oversee and coordinate merchandising activities.
2. Work closely with draftsmen and graphic designers to develop innovative and visually appealing merchandising displays.
3. Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility and drive sales.
4. Ensure that all merchandising materials and displays are in line with the company’s brand standards and guidelines.
5. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to replenish merchandise as needed.
6. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
7. Train showroom staff on merchandising best practices and provide ongoing support and guidance.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and requirements

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in merchandising, preferably in the retail industry.
2. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related area, or full or part qualified in marketing will be an added advantage.
3. Strong creative and design skills, with the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing displays.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
5. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and product presentation.
6. Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
