Safety Officer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our organisation and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across our projects.

Scope of work

1. Implement and monitor health & safety policies and procedures
2. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections
3. Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations
4. Prepare safety reports, method statements, and toolbox talks
5. Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
6. Train staff and workers on safety awareness

Qualifications and experience

1. Degree/diploma in safety engineering or related field
2. NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent certification (preferred)
3. Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction project sites
4. Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations
5. Good communication and leadership skills
