Finance Associate

Join a leading BOI-registered export-oriented manufacturing company. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented finance associate to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate who is looking to build a career in finance while working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Manage and maintain Excel-based financial and operational applications.
2. Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial data and reports.
3. Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
4. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
5. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.
6. Support ERP system operations, reporting, and process improvements.
7. Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Candidate profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, finance, or a related field.
2. Qualification in AAT, CA, ACCA, or similar (full or part) qualification will be an added advantage.
3. Approximately 1 year of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, reporting).
5. Good working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, SAGE, Oracle, or similar).
6. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
8. Preferably residing in or around Wattala, Ja-Ela, Ragama, Kandana, Peliyagoda, or nearby areas.
