Key responsibilities

1. Operate colour sorter machine to remove defective, discoloured and foreign materials from raw cashew nuts.
2. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments for accuracy.
3. Ensure smooth flow of raw cashew nuts and maintain target quality standards.
4. Clean and maintain the machine and work area for hygienic operations.
5. Record daily production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
6. Follow safety and quality guidelines at all times.

Qualifications & experience

1. Minimum G.C.E. Ordinary Level (or equivalent).
2. 1 – 2 years of experience in operating colour sorter or similar machines in a cashew processing or food industry.
3. Basic knowledge of raw cashew nut processing is an advantage.
4. Ability to identify discoloured, damaged and foreign materials.
5. Good attention to detail and concentration.
6. Willingness to work in shifts and meet production targets.
