Project Chinese Translator (Chinese – English / Sinhala)

We are looking for a capable and energetic Project Chinese Translator to support communication and coordination between Chinese and local staff on the MFC Project.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide accurate verbal and written translation between Chinese and English/Sinhala.
2. Assist in site coordination and daily communication between Chinese and local staff.
3. Translate project documents, reports and technical materials.
4. Support Chinese management and local staff with coordination activities.
5. Accompany Chinese supervisors on-site and assist in translating instructions and communication for local workers.
6. Facilitate smooth communication between site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams.
7. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all translations.

Requirements

1. Good command of Chinese, English, and Sinhala.
2. Previous experience in construction projects will be an added advantage.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
