Junior Executive – Merchant Sales

Key responsibilities

1. Proactively canvas and acquire new merchants to achieve set targets for POS (Point of Sale) solutions across assigned territories.
2. POS hardware deployments and conduct training for merchant staff on proper card acceptance procedures.
3. Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports to monitor sales performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
4. Maintain and enhance operational effectiveness and POS management for the bank’s merchant portfolio.
5. Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including branches and departments to facilitate seamless service delivery.

Experience & qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services sector.
2. Previous exposure to an existing merchant base or a proven track record in field-based merchant sales will be a significant added advantage.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of card products and card-related regulatory mandates.
4. Strong communication and analytical skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.
5. Proficiency in computer literacy.
