HR officer – project site (Kotiyagala | Siyambalanduwa)

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic and responsible individual to join our project site team located at Siyambalanduwa, Kotiyagala as an HR officer (on fixed term contract basis).

This role offers hands-on exposure to site HR operations within a fast-paced project environment.

Job responsibilities

1. n
2. Handle end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities for project site employees
3. n
4. Maintain accurate employee records including personal files, attendance records and overtime
5. n
6. Support payroll input preparation and verification of timesheets of the project staff
7. n
8. Manage employee relations and address site-level HR queries and concerns
9. n
10. Ensure strict compliance with labor laws and company policies
11. n
12. Assist in grievance handling & employee engagement initiatives at site
13. n
14. Prepare and submit HR reports to management on a timely basis
15. n
16. Coordinate with the head office HR department for all HR-related processes and reporting

Qualifications & experience

n

1. n
2. Diploma or degree in human resource management or related field
3. n
4. Minimum 1 – 2 years of HR experience (site/project experience will be an advantage)
5. n
6. Sound knowledge in MS office package with strong communication skills
7. n
8. Ability to work independently in a site-based environment
9. n
