Engineering intern

Responsibilities

1. Assist in designing, analyzing, and testing mechanical systems and components.
2. Support the development and refinement of engineering prototypes and products.
3. Perform simulations and calculations to evaluate system performance.
4. Prepare technical documentation and reports.
5. Collaborate with engineers and other team members on project tasks.
6. Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
7. Help with the assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

Qualifications

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / mechatronics engineering / technology or a related field.
2. Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical analysis tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, FEA).
3. Understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
4. Hands-on experience with power tools is an added advantage.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to perform technical calculations and interpret results.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
