Accounts Executive

Colombo Wooden Company (Pvt) Ltd is a manufacturer of packaging material for the foodservice industry. We are located in Rathmalana.

Responsibilities

1. Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records
2. Assist in preparation of accounts payable/receivable
3. Assist in preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
4. Assist in preparation of tax returns, statutory payments, and other regulated requirements
5. Handle petty cash and associated documentation
6. Ensure enforcement of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls & external regulations

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
2. Degree or higher in accounting or accounting-related discipline; or qualified/part-qualified in ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CA
3. Strong English language skills, proficiency in basic computer software + accounting packages
4. Able to operate with minimal supervision and solve issues if they arise

Remuneration

1. Gross salary Rs. 90,000 – 110,000 depending on qualifications and experience
