Head of Finance | Finance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-oriented Head of Finance / Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, compliance, reporting, and strategic decision-making to support the institution’s growth and long-term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

1. Lead and manage all finance and accounting functions of the organization.
2. Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and comprehensive financial reports.
3. Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenditure to ensure strong financial stability.
4. Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
5. Oversee external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and relevant regulatory authorities.
6. Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, controls, and procedures.
7. Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
8. Supervise, guide, and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
9. Conduct advanced financial analysis using dashboards, integrating insights with risk assessment and forecasting models to support strategic planning.
10. Ensure compliance with all taxation requirements and other statutory obligations of the organization.
11. Maintain and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, and negotiate favorable arrangements to support the organization’s financial objectives and competitive advantage.

Requirements

1. Fully or partly qualified in CA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
2. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
3. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance and accounting, including leadership experience.
4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance.
5. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
6. Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems.
