Quality Control Executive

Key responsibilities

1. Ensure product quality and compliance with company and customer requirements.
2. Conduct inspections and monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process.
3. Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
4. Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
5. Support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Coordinate with production teams to uphold fabrication, welding, and coating quality standards.

Requirements

1. Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
2. 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment.
3. Experience in sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, welding, and powder coating is preferred.
4. Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
5. Strong understanding of quality tools such as: 7 QC tools, root cause analysis (5 why, fishbone diagram), CAPA, FMEA, control plans etc.
6. Knowledge of welding inspection and fabrication quality standards.
7. Understanding of powder coating inspection requirements.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting.
