About the company

JF Aqua (Pvt) Ltd is a subsidiary of Jaya Farm and it is a well-established shrimp farming company situated in Ambakandawila – Chilaw. We are looking for a suitable dynamic person to fill the below position.

Qualifications

1. Degree, diploma or NVQ certificate in aquaculture, fisheries, agriculture or related field is preferred.
2. Previous experience in prawn/shrimp farming or aquaculture operations.
3. Good knowledge of pond management, water quality monitoring and prawn health management.

Key responsibilities

1. Monitor prawn growth, health, feeding schedules and survival rates.
2. Ensure proper water quality management and pond maintenance.
3. Maintain records of stocking, feeding, treatments, harvests and inventory.
4. Assist in harvesting activities and post-harvest management.
5. Night duties
