Senior external auditor – Singapore

Ready to take your audit career international? Crevaty is looking for a senior external auditor to join our Ja-Ela team and work directly on audits for our Singapore office. Gain global exposure, sharpen your technical skills, and grow with a firm that invests in its people.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and carry out external audit assignments for Singapore-based clients, from start to completion.
2. Prepare and review audit working papers, schedules, and supporting documentation to a high standard.
3. Perform tests of controls and substantive procedures in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
4. Identify audit issues, accounting errors, and control weaknesses, and discuss them with the audit manager.
5. Prepare draft financial statements in line with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
6. Meet audit deadlines and keep the manager updated on the progress of each assignment.

Requirements

1. Work experience: 3 to 5 years of external audit experience, preferably in an big four audit firm.
2. Professional qualification: Part-qualified CA or ACCA.
3. Education: A university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
4. Standards knowledge: Good understanding of ISA and IFRS/SFRS reporting standards.
5. Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills, as you will work closely with our Singapore team.
6. Software: Experience with audit software and Microsoft Excel.
7. Attention to detail: Accurate, organized, and able to spot errors in financial data.

Selected candidates may be offered initial training in Singapore. We also support hybrid working, with a flexible mix of office and work-from-home.
