Junior Executive – Operations (Preferred Male Candidate)

About the company

Sisili Hanaro Encare is an environmental engineering company and leader in clinical waste management in Sri Lanka, where our services are much needed. Our philosophy also extends beyond waste management in that we consider us as part of a circular system where all material from our day-to-day lives can be applied in various processing cycles.

Your role will involve

1. Oversee material flows and daily operations in the material recovery facility.
2. Ensure proper handling, processing, and value addition of waste materials per standards.
3. Implement health & safety measures and supervise operational staff.
4. Manage client relationships, contracts, and onboarding documentation.
5. Coordinate logistics, transport, and internal department collaboration.
6. Maintain records and prepare operational, productivity, and compliance reports.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university.
2. 2+ years of work experience in waste management is an added benefit.
3. Excellent written and communication skills in English.
4. Proven experience in foreign communications will be an added advantage.
5. Being a good team player by supporting other team members to achieve goals.
6. Willingness to travel and preference to work in waste management field.
