Manager – external audit (Singapore)

Lead audits on a global stage. Crevaty is seeking an experienced external audit manager to head audit engagements for our Singapore firm from our Ja-Ela office. If you are an experienced professional ready to lead teams, manage clients, and deliver quality, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the full external audit process for Singapore-based clients, from planning to final sign-off.
2. Review audit files, working papers, and financial statements to ensure quality and compliance with ISA and SFRS.
3. Manage audit budgets, timelines, and resources across multiple assignments at once.
4. Act as the main point of contact for clients and the Singapore firm, building strong working relationships.
5. Identify complex audit and accounting issues, propose solutions, and escalate key risks to partners.
6. Lead, coach, and develop a team of auditors, reviewing their work and supporting their growth.
7. Ensure all audits meet firm and regulatory quality standards and are delivered on time.

Requirements

1. Work experience: 5 to 8+ years of external audit experience, including team and client management.
2. Professional qualification: Fully or part qualified CA / ACCA (or equivalent).
3. Education: A university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
4. Standards knowledge: Strong, up-to-date knowledge of ISA and IFRS/SFRS reporting standards.
5. Leadership: Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage multiple engagements.
6. Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills for direct work with our Singapore partners.
7. Software: Proficiency in audit software, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.

Selected candidates may be offered initial training in Singapore. We also support hybrid working, with a flexible mix of office and work-from-home.
